Mark Tremonti has been an admirer of Paul Reed Smith's guitars since he was a child. After receiving a McCarty model from Mr. Smith himself, Mark immediately fell in love. The resulting contact resulted in the PRS Tremonti signature. Although the McCarty was already a big step towards the perfect guitar, Mark Tremonti had the desire to create a PRS with more output, and with a more aggressive character.
